The Northwest Public Broadcasting App offers a convenient way to access the services of Northwest Public Broadcasting, including radio and TV (NPR and PBS). With this app, you can enjoy your favorite shows and clips from anywhere at any time. The app allows you to pause and rewind live audio, as well as view radio and TV program schedules. Additionally, you can explore and listen to On Demand stories whenever you want and easily share them with your friends.

In addition to radio streaming, the app also enables you to stream video content. You can watch your favorite PBS shows using DVR-like controls, including pause, rewind, and fast forward. This feature allows you to catch up on missed episodes or important news programs you rely on daily. The app also offers a collection of Northwest Public Broadcasting shows, including "Jam with Dan", "Access NW", "Dr. U", and more in a single location. Northwest Public Broadcasting members can access their NWPB Passport account through the app, granting them access to special curated content.

The news section provides specially curated local news from various public media news outlets such as NPR News, Northwest News Network, PBS Newshour, and Earthfix. Stay updated throughout the day with breaking news alerts via text message. Additionally, the app features environmental stories from EarthFix, covering topics that impact our environment. For a national perspective on issues, curated NPR and PBS Newshour content is also available.

Other notable features include the ability to easily share stories and programs with family and friends through the app's "Share" button. Moreover, you can set a sleep timer and alarm clock within the app, allowing you to fall asleep and wake up to your favorite station.
